EXCLUSIVE: Health Note, a pre-clinical intake automation platform, announced it raised $17 million in Series A funding. The round will allow the company to further expand its integration with electronic health records and invest in future offerings. SignalFire led the round, but the company garnered support from prominent health systems including UnityPoint Health, Northwell Health and Cedars Sinai Health Ventures. While Health Note CEO Dr. Joshua Reischer said not all funders are signed on as clients, the deal reveals providers’ desire to improve efficiencies in the face of on-going labor shortages. Health Note starts conversations with patients ahead of a scheduled appointment reducing manual documentation for staff.
