Kat Jercich joins Modern Healthcare as senior editor after nearly a decade in healthcare journalism, most recently as senior editor at Healthcare IT News, where she reported on developments in the healthcare tech industry and hosted a weekly podcast. Her writing has appeared in the New York Times, the Washington Post and the Advocate, among other outlets. She’s a graduate of Cornell University and lives on Chicago’s North Side.
