Mari Devereaux is the safety & quality reporter for Modern Healthcare. She joined the organization in May 2021 as a fellow then became a general assignment reporter. Mari has worked as a general assignment intern for the Chicago Sun-Times and the Verona Press. Mari received a bachelor's degree in journalism in 2021 from Columbia College Chicago, where she was co-editor-in-chief of the school’s paper, the Columbia Chronicle.
